1.6 General schedules for maintenance by time

Below are typical schedules for common maintenance on most SAABs. Certain SAABs may require maintenance beyond the typical schedules listed below, while others may offer proper service at longer intervals. Additionally, make repairs immediately to systems that fail. During every drive monitor the vehicle for atypical noises, unusual drivability, or any other anomalies.

Maintenance for oil changes and standard maintenance such as the 30,000 mile maintenance interval, should absolutely be observed at the proper mileage or time interval.

Also note that service intervals are determined by both distance and time.

Before every drive
During every drive
Every other week
Every three months inspect the wiper blades
Every six months rotate tires if they haven't already been rotated at 5000 miles
Every three years perform the re-occurring 30,000 mile maintenance regardless of mileage
At ten years evaluate the overal condition of the vehicle to determine if the vehicle should remain in service
At 20 years evaluate the overal condition of the vehicle to determine if the vehicle should remain in service
