0.2.a Hand Tools
A basic element of the repair shop, the simple hand tool is common but vital instrument. Without wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers, the vast majority of repairs could not be made as most things on cars are held together with common hardware like nuts and bolts.  While bigger equipment is more visible when you walk through the shop and while expensive diagnostic scan tools are fancier, the basic hand tool, however less exciting, is still used on almost every single repair.
